Having broken her hip my 96-year-old mother received the utmost care and treatment at KGH, first at Barnwell B ward and subsequently Ashton ward. The nursing staff on both wards were impressive, particularly on Ashton where she spent the longest time. Professional, efficient, caring and compassionate. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the nursing staff as well as support team. The various Doctors who attended mother were at pains to explain every development and intended course of treatment. In short, I am satisfied that my mother received the best care possible. Many, many thanks for such impressive, professional, exemplary and compassionate care.

Both wards pride themselves on the excellent standards of care they give to their patients and aims to provide compassionate, efficient and professional care consistently.
