"Such good attention when I needed it."

About: Yeovil District Hospital

I had suffered a heart attack out walking but failed to recognise it as such. It was several days before I made an appointment to see my GP because of being in so much discomfort. When I did so and underwent examination I had barely returned home when a first responder arrived followed by an ambulance. The attention was both immediate and caring and I was taken immediately to A+E in Yeovil. I was in both a high dependency ward for two nights and a further night in a general ward before being taken to Taunton on the Monday morning where a stent was fitted. I was treated so well throughout and have nothing but praise for your staff.
