I have to say I found the lack of correspondence between the EAU and the doctors disappointing. My husband was admitted to the EAU at Hull Royal Infirmary in August and was told he would be receiving an appointment from the neurology department. After a month of running about ringing one doctor’s secretary after another we are still no closer to an appointment being made. After all this we have been told there is no record of an appointment and to visit our own GP for a referral. Constant migraines that are now as frequent as 1 a week, causing neck pain and disturbed vision are really getting my partner down. I have even been in touch with the PALS department and I don’t feel I have been listened to. It is now October and I have to say I’ve lost my faith in the system. I feel there is nowhere left to turn for help. I think this country needs to give priority to our health rights first. I last called today and still getting no where.
