My local practice website took over 80 seconds to load - anything. (In contrast the BBC site took 0. 5 seconds and that is full of graphics). I am using a high speed fibre connection.
I ran a test online and found that the problem is with the host company gpwebsolutions-host. co. uk part of EMIS.
I tried to contact them but they do not publicize an email contact account to which I can send my report.
So I ran tests on a few of their other GP practice websites. They are ALL grievously slow!
This is inexcusable. Is anybody monitoring this company's performance? Like. how many patients try to login and give up.
