Over in Blackpool from our home in France - a 65th birthday treat paid for by my daughter. During the early hours on of our first night mild discomfort in my lower abdomen became unbearable. My anxious but calm lovely wife, Brenda, called an ambulance and I was swifly taken to A&E....I remember there was a bumpy road on the short trip from our Hotel. Into A&E. I was now writhing....Immediately I was attended to by the Staff Nurse and my bloated bladder was swiftly emptied (I think the bow wave sent a trolley flying down the ward!). The relief! The cathater was nothing more than tickle. Over the following hours and the night I was so well attended to by everyone. Thoroughly professional throughout...cheerful, friendly, helpfull and infomative. My wife and I are so greatfull for your truly outstanding service...Paramedics, A&E, Ward 10, Ward 16 and any stops inbetween as well our particular thanks to the Conslulting Urolgist and his team who arranged for all the necessary documentation to help speed me into the Limoges Teaching Hospital back here in France where I was admitted earlier this week. All's well...a couple more tests to come. A truly outstanding team of dedicated, professional real people who really care. Thank You. Stuart Bailey. Limousin France
"My 65th birthday surprise?..certainly a memorable..."
