I was rushed into A&E in the early hours of 7th Feb and was diagnosed to have a upper fractured jaw and spent 10 days in hospital. From the moment I arrived the treatment and care I received was of a very high standard and I don't think royalty would of been treated any better. From the tea ladies / gentlemen, nurses,to the main surgeon I cant thank you enough. The staff and treatment in the maxillofacial department were fantastic. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay in wards 100,101,102 and 111 and all staff deserve a knighthood as they appear to be in a no win situation. I don't think its fair to single people out, but the doctor who delicately stitched my mouth up, the doctor along with their team who assessed me everyday, the staff nurse and staff on 111 who never stopped working through out there shift, the surgeons who carried out the surgery, I will be forever in your debt and thank you for the first class care and treatment I was given. We are a city of moaners but from personal experience I think we have a bloody good hospital in our area, I also hasten to add the new complex itself is fantastic too. So to everyone at the RSUH I thank you all again and please keep up the good care and work as believe me I think 99% of patients appreciate your efforts.
