"An activity on the ward"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital / Ward B1

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

We made Christmas decorations, the Service User, was reluctant at first, but once she started making them, she started to really enjoy herself. As her confidence grew she then started to take the lead. Her family were also pleased at the decorations.

She said she really enjoyed the sessions, and didn't know she had it in her to make them.

Working in partnership with Care Opinion to gather feedback, meaning we find out what we do well and how you think we should improve. We really do want to hear from you and we reply to every story.

Thank you for your feedback. I have contacted the ward to pass this on. If the service user or her family would like to see the feedback maybe you could pass this on for me?

We like to hear about the activities on the ward that make a difference whilst people are in hospital as the days can be very long and activities give people a chance to engage and communicate whilst recovering.

Any further feedback form the ward would be welcomed directly from the service user or carers and their families.

Many thanks

Jane
