My son was informed by Southampton that he had a slight emphysema on the top of one lung. No treatment was given and he was sent home. when back at home he suffered yet another major hemorrhage. He was sent to Dorchester hospital and was diagnosed with a lung tumour, but they could not tell what kind of tumour it was, so he had to wait to have a biopsy, which he has done. After giving him a date for this they have now cancelled it without any further date given.
This has been going on since the first of January and still no treatment. You can imagine what he has been going though, all the information we get about cancer is that if it is diagnosed early you have a very good chance of a recovery. My son is worried that because of the time it is taking to get treatment they well tell him ‘sorry, too late to do anything.’ From a very worried mother.
