I am in hospital briefly for a small procedure to drain fluid from my abdomen. Have spent a total of about 11 weeks in 2 hospitals over past couple of years. Was really annoyed at having to pay to watch tv in 2013 as it was about £5 a day to watch Freeview tv. It is now £7.50 a day for the same extremely poor service. Who justifies this? If you are unfortunate enough to be in hospital light entertainment should not cost you anything. If the service cost less more patients would use it, outrageous, shameful exploitation of the poorly.
