It was great to get some sound practical advice, also reassured that my problem does not always have to be fixed with surgery. (I did believe this was my only option after first visiting my GP). At the Flatt Walks Clinic, it felt very informal and Yvonne seemed very genuine in my problem. She was very easy to chat to and the embarrassment I had been feeling soon disappeared. On leaving I felt much better, I was not alone and I was also clued up on other options to consider and try out. Already I can feel an improvement by doing the easy exercises Yvonne advised me to do. It is too late letting women know about pelvic floor during and after pregnancy. The young should be taught at school.
