Following my collapse (what turned out to be the first faint of my life in 65 years) I was quickly taken by ambulance for a check-up in A and E. Within two hours I had several ECGs, a chest X-ray, blood test (results within an hour) and an examination, before being reassured and sent home. Full marks to both the ambulance service and A and E staff, and to their follow-up with a further X-ray arranged for comparison purposes. (5 stars to Radiology who gave me an immediate appointment after I mistakenly cancelled it).
