"Trauma outpatients dept East Surrey"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Awaiting bunion surgery. I have seen three different professionals and have been told I need three different procedures.

Up to six month wait for routine surgery so far, and still none the wiser as to what's happening or what is to be done or where. No letters, no communication. Starting to wonder if they will operate on the correct foot with the correct procedure!

Waiting room times for my appointment were absolutely dire. Over two hours wait for a chat. Printed information completely irrelevant to me.

Complete breakdown of all departments has left me the patient in distress and utterly confused.
