"Had an Endoscopy on 3rd February Frimley Park..."

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

Got to the hospital by 15:00, eventually went to have it done at 18:15. Whilst in the waiting room all the lights got switched off as nearly time for the staff to go home. I was eventually given a strong sedative to make me sleep as they were closing off veins not just looking. At 18:45 my friend was called to pick me up Which was approximately 20 minutes after I went to sleep. When she and my daughter got to the department they were trying to wake me up. All I can remember is them asking me to see if I could sit up then stand up. In my daughters words ' I looked drunk'. She also said they just wanted to go home. They never offered a wheel chair to get me to the reception they just left my friend and daughter to struggle. When I eventually got home I just collapsed onto the settee and the next thing it was 12:30. If this is supposed to be our caring health system god help us. I have been told that I will need another done in 28 days, and to be honest I'm terrified.
