"Contraditions from Registrar, Mentally painful,..."

About: Charing Cross Hospital

I'm a cancer patient and at a meeting was given great news from the Registrar only to receive a copy letter sent to my GP completely contradicting that which I was told. Very confused and dissappointed I approached PALS but was told there they dop not get involved in that sort of thing. I've got a call in now waiting for collorectal Nurse to return my call, who is busy with her patients but I'm a patient too.

Response from Charing Cross Hospital

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is concerned to read of your experience and we apologise for the confusion and distress caused. We are also sorry that PALS reported that they could not assist . It would be important to understand the situation clearly and to investigate. We hope that you will contact the PALS Manager, Christine Cornell via the PALS Account pals@imperial.nhs.uk so we can progress this.
