In previous visits I have always been dealt with respect and compassion by the consultant. However on my last appointment I was seen by an F2 who could do with some work on her communication skills. She quite clearly hadn't read my notes and kept offering me treatment that I had already undergone, namely a mirena IUD and endrometrial ablation (both with poor results). She suggested that the pain that I was in might not be as bad as I suggested. As soon as I got home I made a private appointment to see a consultant the following week.
