"A&E treatment & 4 night stay ward 7a"

My partner had a work related accident in which he broke a rib and punctured a lung. From the paramedics arriving to his last day in hospital, we cannot find fault with any aspect of his care. All staff were totally professional at all times considerate of his anxiety as well as the injuries they were treating and by keeping me fully informed at all times while I was not allowed to be in resus with him. The surgeon in particular was a wonderful man who put my parnter at ease with his calm & caring manor & dry humour which kept our spirits up. I have had several experiences with this hospital over 13 years and I have never once felt concerned about the care given. Thank you to all the staff who work tirelessly for us to such impeccable standards. Long live the NHS!
