"Privacy"

I have been coming to the FitzWilliam quite a bit over the past year & I have nothing but praise for the surgeon ,aneathethetists etc,but I do have a complaint about a few of the nursing staff regarding privacy.After having an operation & sitting on my bed with the door open a nurse proceeded to lift up my gown to take the pads left by the ECG monitor from under my breasts! I said to her ,excuse me can you close the door please, her reply was,Oh your ok ! No I was very much not ok! Im a very large breasted woman in my fifties ,I take pride in my appearance,but obviously to that young just qualified young nurse,I was an old woman whose dignity didn't matter! I would like to say this was a one off ,but it happened again later when another young nurse came to help me into my own clothes ,door wide open again,visitors etc walking by,I said can you close the door please,she said,we will only be a minute lovey! I insisted that she did ,in a nice,lovey way !
