I was in the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham on ward C31 for a keyhole hysterectomy last week and have no complaints about my care from when I arrived to when I left 2 days later.
The nurses made regular visits to patients to ask about pain relief needed or answer any questions. Even the consultant and assistant made regular calls to check everything was ok. The care you receive goes a lot toward your recovery when you come out as good care will make you feel a lot better about yourself.
The actual layout of the ward was good and the nurse station was within the area of the bays (4 beds to a bay) so this is the only layout I know as not been in before for a stay.
If by any chance I had to go in again I would have no worries about my care.
