"My sons referral to the hospital"

My son was referred to the hospital by his optician. The TRAQS team were very prompt in contacting us to arrange a hospital appointment and we were given an appointment quickly and conveniently.
I had contacted my GP surgery to ask for a telephone call from my sons GP to discuss his referral and there were some questions I wanted to ask him about things that may have been relevant in my sons medical background. I was told the GP could not call that week as he had no slots and that the following week he would be on holiday.
Even after stressing the importance of this I was unable to get a call. My surgery is Stirchely medical practice.
