My father has been seen recently in the Gainsborough wing of the hospital as an outpatient. He is very frail and elderly. Our on visiting the hospital since December 2014 for various tests and appointments has been very positive. On all occasions he has been treated with respect and dignity. Staff have displayed kindness and understanding when discussing his symptoms allowing him time to express his ideas and feelings. This has led to him feeling far more positive towards his condition and reducing his anxiety, On each occasion when we visited the care for the elderly clinic we were bother offered a drink and made to feel welcome. My father needs to drink regularly. While we waited for transport to take him home the nurse who had attended him in clinic made sure he had water while he was waiting. We would both like to say thank you to the nurses and doctor who have overseen his care.
