I am extremely disatisfied with the lack of care being provided for a relative at The Royal Oldham Hospital. Throughout the course of 8 weeks these are just a few things I would like to discuss; - On one occasion a member of staff gave the relative substances in which they are harmfuly allregic to, this is stated on the patients notes which i expect to be read before handling any pateint. - Along with this the staff were told by a former relative the patient is a vegeterian to which we were then told "sorry i haven't read there notes" after being informed of this there is still no change in there diet. - On a number of occasions msyself and former relatives has been to visit to find the nurses have not changed the bed after the patient has urniated, we have to take our time out of the visiting hours, which by the way are very sparing to say the least, to tell the nurses. It seems as though they are not checking themselves. - Also I recall one time the pateint was covered in fieces and not once single nurse had acknowlegement of this. The above are just a few of the many things I am majorly dissapointed about I expect high level care from The Royal Oldham Hospital. I hope you take note and that things will improve or I shall take it upon myself to contact The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.
"Lack of effort within care."
