"how Long Should you Wait in A&E"

About: Whiston Hospital

I would like to make you aware that my mum ( aged 76 ) was taken to Whiston A&E on 10th February at 04:30 in the morning by my dad ( aged 83 ) and at 16:15 she is still in A&E waiting room waiting for the doctor to review her x-rays - she cant have anything to eat or drink in case an operation is required, but she's had nothing to eat or drink since 6pm on 9th Feb !!! - I know she had a small op on Friday 6th Feb and was discharged on Saturday afternoon but surely this waiting time for a lady of her age is just unacceptable......
