"I wanted to go back"

About: Inclusion Matters Wirral

(as the patient),

I would say that it was eye opening from the very time I set foot in the place, and(I quote I was panicking like crazy and my anxiety had gone through he roof. But there was a calmness all the time, which made you feel comfortable, from the receptionist to the staff themselves.

I never once felt uneasy, (Well except maybe my first appointment as I said before) which didn't last long because within minutes I was made to feel me, and that again was due to the calmness and staff who I can't fault.

It's also taught me ways to recognise and to control my panic and anxiety attacks in a way that I never knew before.

I actually found myself enjoying my sessions in a way that I wanted to go back, and I'll quote from my first session, that yes 'CBT may not be for everyone', but I would certainly advise people to at least give it a go, what harm can it do.
