About: Blackpool Victoria Hospital

My autistic son had a chest operation and spent 6 days in Blackpool Victoria. I don't say this lightly but I was blown away at the care he received. Nothing was too much trouble to explain to help him stay calm. The doctors were truly amazing and I am so thankful for their expert advice and help. The staff on ITU were So friendly and helpful what ever time of day or night. Ward 38 was like a home from home even moving the beds around to make us more comfortable. I would highly recommend the hospital and wish to pass on the families gratitude for making an unpleasant process as pleasant as possible. Well done x

Thank you for your wonderful comments about the care and treatment your son received whilst at Blackpool Victoria Hospital recently. All of our staff strive to do the very best they can to make all operations and aftercare run as smoothly as possible to aid the recovery of our patients.

I’m so pleased to hear that all of the staff you and your son came into contact with were so friendly, informative and helpful and went out of their way to ensure that your son was comfortable on the ward.
