"Completely different to what we had heard/read..."

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

we were worried after reading reviews about whipps cross. But when my wife had to go to the maternity ward after her water broke on the 35th week, we found the service and care to be excellent. I really found no reasons to complain. They were amazing! We really appreciated the support and help provided to us by the midwife team on duty - they were exceptional! very supportive and caring! just the stuff that we need when we as new parents are all lost and confounded! The midwife even helped comb the new mom's hair after the delivery so that she would look pretty on the photographs! They were very considerate; kept checking every now and then to see if everything was ok and if the new baby was doing well. Once we were moved to the post natal ward, the nurses and midwives there were very kind and helpful as well. All reviews we read beforehand turned out to be negative. we felt fortunate that the support received at whipps cross was positive and excellent! and we felt that we were in safe hands while my baby and my partner were under their care!
