After suffering from depression for a long time, feeling scared, alone, anxious, tired and angry. I took the bravest step ive ever taken in life. I explained to my doctor exactly how I was feeling shedding tears as I told him my problems. He was very understanding and put me in touch with inclusion matters. They have helped me to get my life back together although I’m not fully recovered. After being on the verge of suicide on a number of occasions and honestly thinking that life was not worth living, not matter how much I loved me children and my family, life was so painful I didn’t want to be here anymore.
My counsellor has been a rock for me, she has taught me way how to cope with the stresses of life better. She treated me with respect and made me feel valued at all times. Everything we discussed was in confidence. I now feel that I can have a fulfilling life, a positive life, I’m a million miles away from wanting to end my life. I still have my bad days, but they are becoming less and I get up most morning with a more positive attitude. I urge anybody who is suffering from depression or mental health problems to contact inclusion matters and to begin to learn ways to cope with life better, I wish you good luck.
