"Continence service Rotherham"

About: Rotherham PCT / Continence service

(as the patient),

I suffer from chronic retention and receive help from the continence service in Rotherham. This has been my first review for several years since I was an out patient at the Royal Hallamshire. In terms of my catheter supply, the system of ordering through Rotherham works. But it is no improvement on the existing system I had, hence I wonder why the change?

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.

I am glad to know that the new ordering system is working for you.

The main difference is that because ordering products is now through clinical staff, in future, you will get regular annual reviews. It also means that we can check that people are OK with their products everytime they re-order. By doing this, we can make sure that any problems or concerns are dealt with quickly and easily, and that we offer additional reviews to anyone that needs one.
