"Could not have been better looked after had I gone private"

I had a flundoplication performed by Dr Wyman on the 08/07/09. I went in the day before for a pre op blood test and an injection the prevent blood clots. I was asked to be on ward J1 for 7.30am the next morning. Mr Wyman came and saw me and fully explained my operation and put me fully at ease with what was going to happen. Next the anaesthetist came and fully explained what was going to be done. She was also lovely and put me at ease. I was taken down to theatre at 9.30am and I woke up on the ward at 1.20pm and looked after by the nurses. I could not have been better looked after had I gone private. The staff were all very professional and caring. My Wyman came and saw me the following morning to check if I was ok and discharged me. I have followed the dietary advice given and am making a full recovery at home.
