About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

My 94 year old parent fell in the road on our way home. He cut his face quite badly, I called for an ambulance as I needed help to deal with the fall and the injuries he had. The paramedic, Tim arrived very quickly and was able to clean up the cuts and stitch his deeper cuts so prevent the need to go to hospital. Tim then took us home and made sure my partner was settled at home. He was very gentle with my partner, I’m very grateful for this.

Dear Flier838

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your partner is recovering well and feeling much better now.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto Tim who came to your aid, and was so gentle with your partner. Would you be able to contact me, laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk or call 01392 453831, at your convenience, with the date and location that the ambulance attended? This would allow me to identify the correct Tim ensure he is recognised for the care he gave.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
