"Minor injuries unit"

About: Ilkeston Community Hospital

Dear Sir’s, I visited your minor injury unit on Saturday the 1st of February after a friend of mine had fallen the night before and was in a lot of pain. You staff greeted us with politeness and professional curtsey; we only had to wait about 30 minute to be seen by someone. And this nurse was more than a credit to you and the rest of the NHS. She was compassionate, caring and added a little humour in to experience just for good measure. Giving sound advice and gave the kind of service that made you feel like she was treating one for her own and nothing seemed too much trouble for her. I don’t believe we could have received a better service if we had paid privately for it, sadly her diagnosis was correct and my friend has broken her leg. So please pass on our thanks for a great service and if you have any rewards scheme running at present we nominate the member of staff for it.
