"Excellent care for mum from fabulous team on ward 7"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Medicine (Wards 5 & 8)

(as a relative),

Mum was admitted to Ward 7 in early January after an illness in the festive period.

Mum suffers from Dementia and as such, no specific care facility exits for this condition within the hospital. My Mum received the best care from fabulous staff in this department who recognised her problems and assisted in making her prolonged stay (1 month) manageable.

As a family we received excellent guidance from senior nursing staff and this made us more relaxed and able to cope with the changes that affected Mum. The communication between Senior and Junior staff was excellent and everyone new my Mum and the care she needed.

All in all the staff on this ward make a fabulous team. Thank you all very much indeed.
