About: Royal Bolton Hospital

First appointment on Nov. 5th 2014 was with a consultant who spoke only limited English, no people skills and gave us no information. There was no follow up letter to my G.P. A second appointment was arranged by letter to attend in 6 months (May 18th 2015). Early in January 2015 I received letter to attend on 26th January 2015. I was examined by another consultant and the two appoinments in the eye unit were as different as chalk and cheese. This consultant gave me a thorough examination and scan, after which he explained everything in detail. His pleasant, professional manner was in stark contrast to my appoinment on November 5th.
