My sister and I had reason to take our, very capable, 77 year old mum to A & E. Right from the word go, the young lady on reception, the triage nurse, all the nurses who you passed on the way to your waiting room, all those in X-Ray. The doctors who dealt with us all, my faith completely restored. Everyone who we came in contact with seemed stressed/up set because of the shift they had and perhaps what was to come but they gave us everything they could. A smile, a thumbs up when we finally got a bed for my mum. I am so very grateful to all of them and when you consider that they have to deal with a constant barrage of ignorance, drunks, and so on. My wish would be that MP's spend a week working and dealing with the events these lovely people have to go through. To put the added strain on the nurses and Dr's that have to tell you that your 77 year old mum may have to wait in a place where there are the general idiotic public causing havoc because they may not have a bed till the early hrs. Can you imagine having to say that to some of the patients whose manners left them at the door! I would also like to add my thanks to security. These people must be so greaved that they can't do more to those that cause problems, I know I would. So let me end by saying. Thank you everyone I came in contact with, your great!
