I attended the Nelson Day Procedure Unit on 3 occasions for cataract surgery (pre op, operation and post op).
On each occasion the staff were excellent and we're attentive to all the patients present.
One thing that was immediately noticeable was the level of humour and positive morale amongst testify which makes a very big difference.
The procedure was well explained and on the day of the surgery I was completely at ease as everything that was going to happen was exactly as previously explained.
The surgeon explained as he was going along what was happening and the procedure was completely painless.
Post op care was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
All in all the care was nothing short of outstanding as were the staff.
"The care was nothing short of outstanding"
