"Attended following referral from optician"

About: Sunderland Eye Infirmary

Having never been in an a&e before I left Sunderland eye infirmary with a very positive overall feeling. I was treated well at every stage. I feel extremely grateful and appreciative of our Healthcare. I was dealt with swiftly making my way through triage, nurse, doctor and finally registrar. Having arrived at about 4pm I have nothing but compliments for the staff that cared for me especially the nurse who tried her best to get a reading despite my being unable to stop blinking throughout her exam. My optician when telling me to go to a&e prepared me for staff to be unhappy about my using a&e but my treatment was far from this and quite the opposite. It's really nice to be able to pass on compliments like this when they are so very much deserved.
