"Penrice Waterbirth (birth centre)"

About: St Austell Community Hospital

What an amazing birthing experience compared with our first at Treliske. Penrice offered both my partner and I support throughout labour and after. They fully understood my want to be discharged asap as I had another child at home, The support during the labour was fantastic and we couldn't of ask for anything more. I stayed in the water from being 4cm until I gave birth and wouldn't of changed anything again, I felt supported and very safe in their care. Overall an awesome experience that i'd recommend to anyone even considering this as an option. Special thanks to my midwife who stayed with us throughout it all.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to make sure that our teams know when they have made a positive difference, so we will pass your appreciation on to those who were involved in your experience of care.
