"Waiting time"

About: Conquest Hospital

So I'm sat here 50 mins after my appointment time in cardiology still waiting to see a doctor for my 1600 appointment no one else here, no one else about. This is the worst service I've received from the conquest they are normally very good. I'm thing of going home. Disgusted

We're concerned to see your posting on NHS choices about the Cardiology Service at the Conquest Hospital and we're sorry for the fact that you encountered a poor experience. The majority of the feedback we receive for Cardiology services is excellent, therefore staff within the specialty will be wholly disappointed to read your comments. In order for us to determine what happened, it would be helpful if you contacted out Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) who will liase with Trust staff to identify how the issue arose. PALS can be contacted by phone on 01424 758090 or by email at: eshtr.PALSH@nhs.net. May we also let you know that another way patients and families can give feedback is by contacting Healthwatch East Sussex. They are your independent consumer champion for health and social care and would like to hear from people about their experiences of health and social care services. Their role is to make sure your views and feedback are heard and affect the decisions made by the people who deliver your services. You can contact Healthwatch: by phone: 0333 101 4007, text: 0779 410 0409 email: enquiries@healthwatcheastsussex.co.uk or visit the website www.healthwatcheastsussex.co.uk We would encourage you to make contact with us. In the meantime, we will share you posting with Cardiology Services. With kindest regards Patient Experience Team
