"Reccurrent Miscarriage"

In 3 years i have had two miscarriages and 1 ectopic in October 2014 i have now been able to get referred to the Recurrent Miscarriage Unit after waiting to have 3 miscarriages ! . So i awaited my ref-feral letter which advised i needed to have bloods done and my partner to have his done, the letter advised that we needed the bloods taken in the antenatal clinic. I have previously been to this department before during my previous miscarriages to have blood tests. However when i had my ectopic i emphasized that i would rather do my bloods on the gynae ward, as you can imagine sitting in a waiting room surrounded by pregnant ladies wasn't my idea of fun. Its traumatic enough without having your nosed rubbed in it, so with my ectopic it was fine for me to go to that ward. I did however as requested by the Recurrent Miscarriage Unit go to the antenatal to have our bloods done and as predicted it was busy full of blooming heavily pregnant women, whilst i sat there with my 8 blood slips a lady was came round handing out bounty bags and even attempted to give me one, she obviously assumed i was sat there because i was pregnant. When i saw the nurse i asked why there wasn't another place for women like me to give my bloods and that it was even more distressing to have to wait in the antenatal room. She advised that i could have gone to the Balmoral building and had my bloods done there, the nurse couldn't understand why it is not communicated to us. The frustrating part is i phoned the RMC prior to my appointment to confirm that it was the antenatal unit where i needed to go and they confirmed it was. In 3 years not one person has said that i have the option of using the Balmoral blood test area. How difficult can it be to amend a letter, give us the option, or simply communicate, i find it very insensitive that in this day and age women struggling with pregnancy are going through a loss or have gone through a loss shoudl be sat surrounded by what they indeed have lost, its disgusting that we do not get communicated to or have any empathy shown !
