I was incredibly disappointed with the support given from the Wellesley during my recent MRI. I had in the past been a patient of the Wellesley for Cancer Op and Treatment and couldn't speak higher of the treatment offered. BUT my MRI was a dasaster,- it was almost as if there was a conveyor belt to pass all the NH patients thorough its System. There was no nurse in attendance only the MRI Technician who knew nothing about patient care or requirement as a result of which I collapsed after having the MRI and had to be helped by other patients to recover. I am 72 and have severe spinal problems. Nothing seems to be considered by the Wellesley when dealing with Patients as most of the Patients who are there for MRI's have serious problems as do I. I cannot understand why a Private Hospital cannot provide any Nursing support and at least read the patient notes regarding their specific requirements in order to help them,. As I have said this was not always the case! When I had my cancer diagnosis and treatment I cannot speak to highly of the service the Wellesley offered but something has happened. Alan T Slater.
