"Minor operation 22/1/2015"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

I had an operation done to alleviate sciatica. Helpful and friendly people even though the hospital was full and the staff were stretched. Excellent surgeon very competent and approachable as were the anesthatists. Fantastic nurses, let down by a problem when I arrived on the ward from theatre. I was put in a single room at around 9,30. As far as I could tell nobody checked me for 2 hours and I did not have access to a call button. In addition my personal effects did not make it to the Ward until I kept asking after 1130 pm. Not good. The nurses also asked me where I had come from clearly things were not joined up. The following day the the staff were excellent and all went well I saw the surgeon and and his team again a physio appointments were made made made made and everything worked smoothly. I left at1230.
