"Poor Service !"

I needed a biopsy on my throat. Booked in to have as day surgery but this was cancelled due to me having a chronic illness. Anesthetist was not happy about giving the anesthetic to a day patient with Multiple Sclerosis. I was not involved in this decision. So I was sent to Northwick Park hospital instead as I 'may have' needed an overnight stay which I didn't ! Caused a lot of inconvenience to myself and my son as I do not drive and this other hospital was quite a long way away. He needed two days off work, unpaid, to take me for two appointments. (First an assessment then the surgery) All done for the convenience of the staff, not the patient.
