I have just seen the news regarding the recent issues with the children ward at Watford General and was completely shocked and felt that I had to write to express sadness at the report. As our experience from the moment we arrived and throughout the day was super. On arrival the welcome was efficient and warm, everything was available and ready, we were kept informed throughout the day which calmed me as a parent and my 2 year old son. There were lots of toys and things to do which kept everyone occupied. The medical treatment received was given with great care and consideration and with a very professional service. We recently had a different operation in a private hospital and the service my son received compared favourable. The level of cleanliness was very good and on departure we were given all contact details for any issues. An added bonus we received free parking after 3 hours. I would definitely recommend this hospital to others. Thank you to all of you during our difficult time.
