" Fantastic Breast Cancer Care in Sheffield"

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in April 2009. The care and treatment I have received from my GP, The Royal Hallamshire (Breast Care Clinic & Ward G2) and now as an out-patient at Weston Park have been fantastic.

I would like to thank ALL the staff I have met for their wonderful care. I was admitted to Ward G2 for surgery in May for 4 nights and again for further surgery 2 weeks later for 5 nights. The Ward is a clean, friendly, caring place with nice touches such as pottery mugs/cups instead of the usual plastic ones, a pleasant day room for meals with proper cloths on the tables, sometimes biscuits with drinks.

My fellow patients were also a help as, sharing a common bond, we were able to talk about our experiences and share our hopes, fears and expectations.
