"Ongoing "non treatment" for my daughter"

My daugther is 19 and is very hypermobile. On and off over the years she has been seen by various people for continuing injuries to her ankle. She also had similar injuries to her hands however, she was treated at another hospital who I can only say were fantastic and she ended up having surgery to correct. Due to her hypermobility she has stretched and stretched the ligaments in her ankle whereby her ankle is now completely unstable. Under East Surrey since August 2014 she has just been put in plaster or a boot with no sign of any help. My daughter cries herself to sleep every night and begs me to find someone to amputate her ankle so that she can just get on with her life. 2 weeks ago I took her to East Surrey walk in as she was in so much pain. The nurse was rude, dismissive and basically told my daughter it was in her head. She said she was qualified to give a prescription, nor was she qualified to give a sickness certificate but funnily enough she seemed qualified to look at her scan and say there was nothing wrong (even though a consultant at A&E on a previous visit had said that a ligament was ruptured and she would need to see another specialist due to the hyper-mobility problems with her foot!! She yanked my daugther's ankle back in place and slapped a plaster on it - with no pain relief I might add. It was obvious that the foot had been plastered out of place and she was in agony. I have had enough and have taken her to a hopsital in another area whereby they examined her foot, replastered (with care and patience) and booked her in to their clinic within the week. I am disgusted that East Surrey think it is ok to leave a 19 year old in such pain and in a plaster/boot since August 2014. My daughter is desparate for somone to take her seriously. This injury could put a stop to her university course and her job. Hypermobility syndrome is a difficult one, some doctors understand the problems it can cause and others don't. East Surrey however, just don't seem to care!
