"Went in to triage yesterday after having..."

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Went in to triage yesterday after having tightenings. Felt the midwife that was dealing with me was very unsympathetic and not very informative. I was left for 3 hours without being checked on at which point my partner had to call someone as the tightenings had calmed down so it seemed pointless me staying when someone else could have my bed! On departure was told that it was probably due to pelvic girdle pain although I was having tightenings that could clearly be detected on the monitor and in future to take 2 paracetamol and wait 2 hours before coming in. Also heard the staff laughing and joking about other patients on the ward at the time.
