"I've been trying to call QMC eye department for 4 hours!"

About: Queen's Medical Centre / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I am not able to contact QMC ophthalmology department on the number advertised to the public. It is not acceptable to have to wait for four hours trying to contact this department.

I wanted advice on my upcoming operation but have been unable to speak to anybody. I was referred by my doctor to choose and book Lincoln but before I make an appointment, I wanted more information on the procedure and hospital facilities.

I have been calling for four hours with no answer. I feel disappointed and very frustrated.
