"visit to royal bolton hospital on tuesday 6th..."

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

I visited my doctor after coughing up blood. The GP then referred me to the hospital Although I later found out that the hospital issued an amber alert due to high volumes of people attending A & E i received excellent service, undergoing various tests including a camera down my throat. Throughout the staff were friendly and helpful explaining in detail the procedures especially the staff in the endoscopy department who were very comforting and empathic. The staff do a difficult job and don't always receive the recognition they deserve so please pass on my thanks and appreciation

As you rightly point out, our staff have been under huge pressure caused by an increase in demand and the fact that they have still been giving an "excellent service" is a credit to them. Thank you so much for sharing this -- it is much appreciated.
