"Truly a shining beacon in the NHS"

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) / Burns care

(as the patient),

I was assessed at ebac for a scald on my left thigh after 3 weeks of mis-treatment at my local gp surgery. After 2 visits in one week I was admitted for a split level skin graft. Being a paraplegic this took some weeks to heal properly. The skill, care excellent treatment I received over the following 5 weeks was second to none.

The nurses, receptionists were all amazing. I have been a patient in a number of hospitals over the years with absolutely no complaints, but the whole team at the ebac burns centre surpassed all my expectations, they truly are a shining beacon in the nhs..

I have passed this onto the staff in the Emergency Burns Assessment Centre (EBAC) who have asked that I convey their gratitude for your kind words. The treatment that you have undergone can be a timely process and we are pleased to learn that you are healing well and wish you well with your continued recovery.

Kind regards,
