My daughter and 3 year old grand daughter had a double appointment booked recently. They waited about 10 minutes to be seen which was not a problem. When they went in to see the doctor, the doctor examined my daughter first then refused to examine my grand daughter because if she started the examination it would take her over her time of 2 pm. My daughter was a bit shocked as it was still well before 2pm. The nurse at reception was very apologetic. My grand daughter was eventually seen by another doctor and the consultation and examination took less than 5 minutes. I can't believe a doctor would refuse to examine a child no matter how close to their finishing time they were, and I didn't know they worked to rule. My grand daughter had earache and a chesty cough but what if she had been more seriously ill when every minute would count.
