The hospital is great but waiting times could be improved.

The only way to reduce waiting times is to have a doctor or senior nurse at check in to assess patients needs.

If the situation does not need hospital attention they can be advised there and the the best course of action. Just suggesting!

Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts. We do have a triage system in place for those patients whose conditions are not life-treatening and will often advise on using alternative services, particularly when wait times are long. However, we do find that once in the department many people will sit and wait rather than travel to another location.
